Itinerary description
Senderismo urbano (urban trek). Paseo urbano. Caminata urbana.
El recorrido lo comencé en el cruce de calles Paraguay y Darregueyra. Lo finalicé en Plaza Italia (Palermo).

"Suppose that in my silence there lies a rose, trapped" Juan Larrea.
I discovered a secret garden,
yesterday, in Houghton Regis.
I touched the spikes
of butcher´s broom
that was used
in the past
to scratch the blood
off marble slabs.
I picked a leaf
of stinking iris
and rolled it
between my fingers
to reveal the smell
of roast beef.
I stood beneath an Atlantic cedar
like the ones that appears
on coins in the Lebanon.
I passed a holm-oak
that keeps its leaves
in winter.
Deeper I went,
past lords and ladies,
and mock orange
until I reached the centre
where I saw it:
The China Rose, Rosa davidii.
