Itinerary description
A beautiful mountain hike.
Start hiking towards the Cove Oasis, a small pic-nick area.
Continue past it on the right.
Turn right at a hiking sign.
Turn left in the wash signed "Bear Creed Oasis"
The trail leads on the left of the wash, this is the best place to hike.
But it's also the best place to miss the trail out of the wash.
After about 15 minutes in the wash, move over to the right hand side.
You should reach the point where the trail leaves the wash in about 17-20 minutes is the wash.
(after point, turn left).
It's marked by the first small rock canyon on the right, don't hike into the canyon but take the marked trail, that runs parallel to the wash and climbs out of the wash.
Once on the trail, it's real easy to follow.
The hike climbs steadily toward the oasis.
The trail is good, sometimes some small rocks.
The Oasis is small, in a rocky wash, no running water most of the time.
Don't confuse this hike with the Bear Creek Canyon hike.
