Itinerary description
Expect a good dirt path with some sandy washes a slot canyon, lots of Palm trees at the end. No shade.
At the parking lot, walk down towards the palm trees (cottonwood springs), go right and close after that go left and follow the trail in a southeasterly direction uphill.
The trail is good with hard sand. At point [6] go into the Arroyo slot canyon the trail leaves the canyon at point [7] heading up out of the canyon to the left.
At a crossing at point [9] head down to the oasis (to the left). A more difficult and sometimes steep hike down into the canyon.
Once in the lost palms oasis you may hike further to the
