Itinerary description
More Anza Borrego Hiking
Park at the Hellhole parking.
The CRH trail turns left uphill at the marker.
A nice rocky trail on a long climb to some viewpoints.
Past the top the trail levels off and goes downhill into a wash.
To the left is the Culp Valley Primitive campground.
Follow the wash downhill to the right, until you have seen enough boulders.
The canyon gets steeper and the boulders are huge.
Very difficult to go any further.
Below is the Hellhole canyon. Point "Falls" marks the maidenhair falls.

Hiking time: 6 Hours return. All the way to the boulders.
4 Hour, 30 minutes return to the wash.
