More Anza Borrego Hiking

Impressive canyon with slots and caves.

From Highway S2 Mile 43 exit Palm Spring.
This sandy road is best driven by a 4x4.

At the marked crossing with Arroya Tapiado turn left.
Road conditions may vary but in February 2010 the "road" was excellent, probably doable without the 4x4.

At the point P we parked our car. Caves and slots are before and beyond this point.
We hiked beyond. At the end we exited the canyon through a small mud canyon to the right. The exit is quite easy to do and you are rewarded with Excellent views.

Hiking time 2 Hour 30 minutes, but you can make it as long as you want.
