Itinerary description
Two trails combined in one circular - very popular Caledonia trail in full + part of Pouziaris as return path. It seems to be a perfect combination as Caledonia is a linear trail which becomes circular due to Pouziaris part.
Caledonia has a few waterfalls on the way, Pouziaris reveals beautiful panoramic views.
TERRAIN: forest paths and gravel-dirt roads. Caledonia has quite a few ascents, sometimes rather steep. Pouziaris is less difficult.
SEASON: Caledonia is quite shady thus walkable all year round, though there may be some snow in winter. Pouziaris combines shady and sun exposed parts.
KIDS: The trail is walkable with kids from 6-7yo.

Very nice and especially well maintained trail, leading through different zones of vegetation and displaying some great panoramic views. Combining two trails into this one is a great idea as this makes it the ideal length for a trip with family and children. The restaurant near the start point I would not recommend however.

From all the hikes done in Cyprus while on holiday, this is THE ONE, No. 1 hike that I think everybody shall do it. The scent on the trail is absolutely oxygenating, the moss and fern on the ground is epic and the waterfall the total surprise. Really amazing trail, no wonder it gets crowded later . Thank you for all your inspiring hikes that made my holiday amazing here 🤗.
