Itinerary description
We followed ruta 1 ( follow pink signs, very well marked). There's a cueva to the left (there's a sign) shortly after leaving the lake trail and a pretty unbeaten track through a lopylepis(/polylepsis?) forest if you go right from the cueva. It's not on mapsme. We followed a guided group thinking we could pick up on ruta 1 somewhere but that wasn't the case. It's all the way down&up through slippery&steep stuff. At the bottom you're at a lake with very wet&mossy soil (most feet got wet). It was fun in hindsight, if you're no fan of wet monkey business, check the cueva & turn around back to ruta 1.
