Itinerary description
|
Round trip starting in Sørvågen, 1.5km east of the town of Å and the final point of the E10 road. Climb through the rural area of the Lofoten and go through four lakes until you reach the beautiful cabin of Munkebu. The journey is about 2½-3 hours in each direction and a vertical drop of 450 meters. In two very short stretches you need to climb but there are support chains. Munkebu is also used to spend the night as a base camp during the ascent to the peak of Hermannsdalstinden. The trip starts at Lake Sørvågvannet.
