Itinerary description
This hike takes place in the Rwenzori mountains, about a 30 minute drive from Fort Portal. We hired a guide, and also had to take a ranger with a rifle. This 8 hour day hike cost around $90USD per person. You can get more information through the UWA

You start by walking through farming villages. eventually you hit the forest. It's a tough uphill climb all the way to the peak, then it's an even steeper decline to the other side. the last part you walk along a road back to your starting point.
