Buyukada (Princess islands)/ Istanbul

If you are at istanbul and you want to escape the busy city, take a ferry boat from Kabatas Tram stop (20 TL round trip/ Sept 2018) to Buyukada island (Princess islands). Buyukada is the largest and the most popular of Princess Islands. It will take you around 1h30 to reach the island. Once you reach your destination, you will find yourself in the busy center of Buyukada with lot of tourists. You can find souvenirs at affordable prices. Go to the left and take different streets to reach the dirt trail where you will be alone or encouter few people. Continue the walk till you reach the "Union square" at the middle of the island. From there, keep going up to the highest point where you will find an amazing old orthodox church (Saint George church). Many restaurants with amazing terasses are found next to the church where you can enjoy a cold beer or a hot authentic turkish coffee. From the top, go around the island to complete visiting the entire island while having amazing sceneries all around. Watch the ferries timetable before you start so you don't miss the last one.
