Itinerary description
I decided to walk from Oludeniz to the Butterfly Valley along the road so I could take in the view. There is a bus you can get too. There wasn't so many cars and a decent shoulder so it wasn't too bad. It's fairly up hill but not too steep. It took about 1.5hours to walk to the town behind the valley Falayel.
When you enter the town there's a lush view spot and you can see the beautiful colour of the water at the beach. You need to head around the town.
I went down after seeing a sign for the valley. I took a few random paths but I should have just kept following the road around. After a few failed attempts and following small paths I found the real path.
It's a proper path and has lots of spray painted flags and spots to tell you that you are going the right way. I asked a guy and he pointed me in the right direction.
I took a big detour following the signs for the Lycian trail away from the valley. There was a sign saying Beach which I followed but the path down to the valley is just to the right of this sign.
After this you head down, down, down. There's 3 ropes you need to use to get down some tricky parts. Then you come to the valley floor.
I chilled on the beach for a while then got the last shuttle boat back at 5pm.
