Départ : parking le long de l'Utah State Route 95 qui relie Blanding (situé à environ 23km) au Natural Bridges National Monument

Un court sentier (environ 2km aller/retour) qui fini par un plateau rocheux mène à un point de vue donnant sur les ruines d'anciennes habitations troglodytiques occupées par les Anasazi vers les 1200 après Jésus-Christ.
Rapide à parcourir, avec un accès gratuit, peu fréquenté et disposant d'un vaste parking avec des toilettes sèches, cette petite randonnée est interessante à faire si vous vous rendez à "Natural Bridges National Monument".
Le point de vue est protégé par une barrière aussi il est possible de se tenir assez près du bord pour pouvoir regarder jusqu'en bas du canyon.
A proximité il y a un pont naturel rocheux situé à environ 90m au Nord du point de vue et que vous ne pourrez voir qu'en suivant la corniche vers le Nord.
Il n'y a pas d'eau sur le site et les températures du désert peuvent être extrèmement chaudes. Aussi je vous invite à porter des vêtements appropriés et à emmener suffisamment d'eau.

A short trail who finished by a slickrock leads to an overlook of some Anasazi (Native American) cliff dwellings that were inhabited around 1200 A.D.
Easy to browse, with free access, unfrequented and with ample parking with pit toilet, these little hike is a great additional stop for anyone heading to Natural Bridges National Monument.
The overlook is fenced so you can stand close enough to the edge to look down into the canyon. There are several interpretive kiosks that explain the nature of the ruins.
From the signed viewpoint there is a natural bridge about 100 yards north in the main drainage. The natural bridge is not visible from the viewpoint but is easy to locate if you hike 100-yards north on the slickrock ridge the viewpoint is located on.
There is no water at this site, and desert temperatures can be extremely hot and dry. Plan ahead and be prepared. Bring appropriate clothing and lots of water when visiting this site.
