Today my intention is to make a path of exploration. I intend to climb from Gura Diham to Omu Peak, which I have already climbed from Babele. On that occasion I was very struck by the zetas that were climbing the slopes until they reached the top from the valley that comes from Gura Diham. So today my intention is to explore some path up and down the future route.
We arrive at Busteni, a beautiful town in the middle of the Bucegi Mountains in the Romanian Carpathians. I have already done several routes from the town itself, such as the famous Jepii Mare and the toughest Jeppi Mici . I head in the direction of Gura Diham, where I park next to the hut.
Once prepared, I start looking for the path to climb, at first I was a little confused, I couldn't find it. Later in a kind of meadow to the left, in the background you can see a small door that gives access to the river.
A small wooden bridge awaits me on the other side, which will make me cross the river, which is somewhat swollen.
Once crossed to the other side I find a small path that I continue along.
An abandoned house I meet on the way. The sound of the water that carries the river is heard strongly at your side.
I find a water intake, which has the appearance of the old gold mines, through which they carried the water.
Next to it there is a passage in the fence, now we follow a small path next to the river, it seems that she wants to take you along the riverbed, until I come face to face with another half-fallen bridge, and with a strong current of water.
At this point I realize that I am not going well on my route, because this area is going to be boxed in too much. And I turn towards the wooden aqueduct, to try to follow my good path.
It is difficult to find it, sometimes it gets lost, you have to be very careful not to get lost, because if you do, sometimes you get into some trouble on the ground. It is advisable to carry walking sticks, as the slope in some areas is very high.
After finding yourself in the solitude of nature that surrounds you, we find a marked path. It is a path with a Yellow Band, which comes from the road that leads to the Cabana de Gura Diham al Varful Omu . Seen from where I have climbed, I recommend going up this marked trail and ignoring mine due to its complexity.
A short distance after following this path we come to a crossroads of Paths. We leave the company of the Yellow Band Path and we will follow the Red Triangle Path in the direction of Cabana Malaiesti.
At first I missed my wikiloc route and had to pull out my paper map to figure out my next destination.
On our way we will find a detour to the Din Morar refuge, which we ignore and continue to the next crossroads. It is curious that we have a small bench as a rest area.
Here we leave the company of the Red Triangle Path to take the Red Band Path in the direction of Cabana Poiana Izvoarelor. Now I walk more relaxed because my destiny is clearer.
If you look back you see the peaks that you would find on the way to Cabana Malaiesti.
I arrive at Cabana Izvoarelor, where I stop for a moment to drink something hot and take advantage of and eat some of my food. It is a place where you can eat and stay.
After a short break I continue my Red Band Path which will leave us at Gura Diham. The path definitely begins to tend downhill through these beautiful forests that surround you.
I hope you like this little wild and adventurous ride.

Saludos
Saludos Antonio.
