Itinerary description
Teza Sector - Black Trail This is a closed-forest trek in a beautiful afro-montane forest. The trail has not been well maintained, so expect some uneven grades and slippery slopes in the rainy season; Wear comfortable walking shoes, and a walking stick is helpful. If you don’t have one, you can request one at the park office).
Depending on wildlife movements, one may see some blue monkeys and, if very lucky, chimpanzees (no guarantees on either but always hopeful). Yet rest assured that the forest flora and fresh air is always world-class. You’ll enjoy viewing towering mahoganies, unique strangler figs, and star wars-like tree ferns.
