Itinerary description
A nice hike from the parkingspot at Kaldárbotnar. The trip takes you to Búrfellsgjá, over to Húsfell, a less visited spot. From there, over Valahnjúkar and finally to the top of Mt. Helgafell and back to the parking spot. All in all a relativly easy hike, with 600m total ascent. Just beware of loose gravel on Húsfell.
