PLACE HOME AND ALTITUDE: Orejovo, from the rural house (970 m.)
START TIME OF THE ROUTE: 8:30 hours.
TIME TERMINATION OF THE ROUTE: 1:50 PM.
REAL TIME IN MOTION, WALKING: 4:10 hours.
TOTAL TIME EMPLOYED: 5:20 hours.
KILOMETERS ROUTES: 13.2 km.
CUMULATIVE ALTITUDE: 770 m.
ACCUMULATED DESCENT: 320 m.
LEVEL AND DIFFICULTY ROUTE: Medium, without any difficulty
COMMENTS AND ITINERARY: From the Balkans of these days, we have passed to the Rhodopes Mountains, which is where we are going to walk today.
We left walking from the village of Orejovo, after some doubts, we took the right path, very soon we started to climb, always on a lovely path among woods, it is a very nice route with a smooth and constant climb, always by shade, among grass, tall ferns and many pines.
Highly recommended the use of GPS, there are many roads and it is very easy to get lost.
We arrived at the Miraculous Bridges, (end of today's route), it is a gigantic and monumental natural bridge of rock, and another somewhat smaller on the other side, there were many people, as usually happens in these places, because You arrive with the car and there is a shelter with beers and roast beef.
We ate with our own and the usual beer, next to the bridges, where the Minibus picked us up.
Then transfer to Plóvdiv (second most important city of Bulgaria). On the way we stopped in the town of Báchkovo to visit the homonymous monastery, the second most important in the country, with very valuable frescoes
