Itinerary description
Not too technical or tough vertical climbs but the sand and heat will definitely take it out of you! Solid hike for a good workout, just bring plenty of water.

Finished this hike and found it a good hike as described. Apparently the barbed wire fence was placed across the trail 5 years ago. Instead of climbing under/over the fence there is a cross over about 150 yards west of where this trail appears to end at the fence. Most of the trail now is used by mountain bikers. There are a few intersections where the biking trails leave the hiking trail. The GPS map will be useful in keeping on the hiking trail.
