The initial way outside the hotel must be done on the pavement but it does not provide security. In fact, they are narrow, dirty and narrow sidewalks. Cars pass VERY fast and close on that stretch.
Once you get on the "mountain road" it's not that bad. I am and in some sections, the loss can be burning.
