Itinerary description
Budher Caves outside Chakrata are located on Moila Tibba.
In the Deoban forest, these Pandava caves are located on a hill. It is one of the highest points in the region with views of beautiful, snow-clad Himalayan peaks and massifs.
The starting point 'Luhari' village, 15 km outside Chakrata, towards Deoban, on the Tuini road. The landmark is a mobile tower on the main road. Leave the road and drive 3.5 km inside on an unmetaled road to UK forest department's rest house called Budher Bungalow. During winters this 3.5 road is blocked by snow and ice. It is an easy walk as you can see in this trail. From behind the forest rest house, the trail climbs to Moila Tibba. It is a well marked trail, that seemed very safe for all seasons during day time.
