Beautiful trail through old growth forest following the MTS and Blue Ridge Parkway. Passes the Pisgah Mt. Campground entrance then spills you back to the Parkway at the Frying Pan Tower Lookout trailhead 1.3 mi up to the old fire tower and newer cell tower, and weather mast. No bench or picnic area, however. Great cooler late summer hike.
