Itinerary description
very nice trail, especially at tis time of the year with the melting snow, we parked on the bteghrine - zaarour road and we took an uncompleted road all the way up in the direction of zaarour, from there down in the direction on baskinta , followed by an uphill ascent toward zaarour, the view on mighty sannine partially covered with snow was amazing all the way, in zaarour we followed a part of the LMT trail, we visited ruins of a roman temple in addition to a couple of very well conserved roman sarcophagi, we continued and passed by a site with waterfalls (seasonal river) and all the way toward zaarour lake.
after the lake the way down was steep and not very well clear at some areas but its hard to get lost.
very nice trail especially at this time of the year yet physically challenging
