Itinerary description
Gorgeous view of the Ayas valley and the most panoramic view of the Italian alps.
It is marked as difficult because when we were making our way to the lake, the snow was too deep and we found a way with no snow. This meant going out of the trail on a very steep, sometimes very slippery and dangerous path. So if there's snow, stick to the trail with some equipment. Otherwise, I'd recommend not doing going this way if you're not very experienced. Besides this part, the trail before reaching the lake is marked and easy to follow. Sometimes a bit steep but not for much.
Otherwise, it's a challenging and beautiful hike.
