Itinerary description
I would not recommend this park to any hiker or walker. The trails are poorly marked and maintained. It is also a terrible place for small dogs (and children) . The overgrowth on some of the trails is full of several varieties of burr type plants including Beggar's Lice. We spent more time bathing, brushing and deburring our two small dogs than we did on the actual hike. My wife also ruined a Lulu Lemon sweater because we could not remove all the "lice".
The boardwalk over the marshland should be condemned, it is a danger to both elderly hikers and their dogs.
I gave 2 stars instead of just one because the restrooms are clean and stocked with soap and toilet paper.
There are 100s of fabulous trails in the GTA. This is definitely not one of them.
