Itinerary description

Easy access to the trail off Brock Road and there is a small parking lot. The trail starts and ends within earshot of the busy road, leads to a section of red pines in straight rows (planted 60 years ago to stop erosion) but gives way to some nice sections of mixed forest, field, some rolling hills and a ravine or small valley.

Trail is very well marked and connects to another large tract on the east (see Wikiloc entries for Glen Major and West Walker Woods). A large map is posted at the start point and a miniature version is at every waypoint too! I numbered the way points in Wikiloc to match the numbers on the sign posts and the maps.The short side trail at B4 is to a vista worth seeing. Not a lot of wildlife and while water was indicated on the maps I did not see any on the trail (update: small ponds and some wetlands are visible in spring). Plenty of apple trees and some nice views.
