We stopped overnight at Chateau Bonaby, because there was no accommodation in Hillion. The hotel closes on Saturday and Sunday and public holidays and the days in between. For the Ascension Day holiday in 2023 the hotel was closed Thursday to Sunday. The Chateau is about 500 off the GR34. The other alternative is just take the bus to St Brieuc after arriving in Hillion.
At the 15.75 km mark when you cross the stone bridge, walk up the road as it’s a lot easier and the road is not busy
