On our last day in Sri Lanka, and with the tour still to finish, we have some time to visit something. The chosen place will be Brief Garden, gardens with history and beautiful, ideal to complete our trip.
START:
We will have the beginning of the route in the Brief Garden itself, where we find a small parking lot where we can leave the tuk tuk. Access is without complications, along a dirt path. Cars could have more problems, especially if they are large.
DESCRIPTION:
With the tuk tuk parked, we paid the corresponding fee and began the walk through Brif Garden, which we entered through its main entrance.
Once inside, we tour the beautiful gardens. Everything very well cared for, a nice pond, gardens, plants and flowers, all very beautiful!
Brief Garden does not have an established and ordered route to visit it, and we will always be able to move as we wish. We try to enjoy every corner, because the place is beautiful!
After exploring a large part of the gardens, we arrived at Bevis Bawa's house, a house that we visited guided by the same person who charged us for the entrance fee in the parking lot. The house is tastefully decorated and offers many attractions, always well explained by the guide. In one of the patios of the house, we find a beautiful garden with another pond. All full of flowers and very pretty! Special mention to a painted mural that reflects each of the places of interest in Sri Lanka. It is spectacular!
After finishing the visit to Bavis Bawa's house, we only have to leave it, coinciding with the exit from Brief Garden.
Back in the parking lot, a look back to see Brief Garden again and we conclude the route.
CONCLUSION:
Brief Garden was our last tour of Sri Lanka. It's nothing out of this world, but the gardens are beautiful and it has a very beautiful history. A unique decoration and a mural that remains etched in the retina forever. Brief Garden is not very well known, we hardly found any tourists, but it left a very good taste in our mouths, putting a nice finishing touch to our trip through Sri Lanka.
