Itinerary description
This route leads you all the way from the old town of Salvador ("Pelourinho") along Avenida 7 de Setembro to Farol da Barra, the lighthouse of Barra, an area with nice cafés, restaurants and a small beach. The pleasant walk passes the Elevador Lacerda, Museo de Arte da Bahia (Bahia Art Museum) and an old british cemetery.
The walk starts a Casa de Jorge Amado, a famous writer from Bahia. Lot's of history along the Avenida 7 de Setembro.
From Farol da Barra busses go back to Pelourinho, bu not directly at Farol da Barra. You need to ask.
