Itinerary description
We had been told this was a difficult "hike". To be honest, for us... the "difficult" parts were just two sections that were almost true rock climbs! The trail was clearly marked UNTIL you reached the two difficult areas. We are pretty certain that we MISSED the trail on the way up, and "climbed" unnecessarily. We can say that for certainty because the trip down was much simpler, without the "interesting" parts. (See photos.) You can not our track. If you follow our track and want it easier, just follow the trip down to go up!!!
The views from the entire hike were beautiful. The top of the mountain is a small area, but with a 360 degree view. There is enough room for a small group to sit and have a drink and snack.
We rated this hike "difficult" only because of the climbs.
I wouldn't do in wet weather. We did this on a hot, dry day... and took lots of water with us. The breezes on the second part of the hike were wonderful, so we didn't feel the heat. The start (first third) is sheltered from the wind, so no breeze for that portion.
Take your time... and... Enjoy!!!
