Itinerary description

Lovely and panoramic hike from the little hamlet of Braga, passing also Contrada Omaner, Contrada Coalini and the oldest hamlet in Spiazzi, Contrada Croce When you're in Spiazzi you can find panini with local products and a delicious strudel in the little market Zaninelli, near the piazza (29 Aprile). From here you take the road "località Maso" that takes you around Monte Cimo. Incredible view of the Sanctuary from here. You choose to do the sometimes exposed trail of the trenches, down or you left (not with vertigo problems) or keep going on the trail above.
From Monte Cimo, turn left and follow the path to the end of the vineyard, you will find a wooden gate. When you cross the open field, pay attention, you are on Private Ground and there could be cows (dogs on leash). At the end you will fin an iron gate. It looks chained, but the chain has a lock that can be opened. Be aware of closing behind you. Follow the road on you right and it will take you to Forte Cimo Grande. Pay attention of the unsafe building and the trembling walls.
From here you can go further to a WWI military station and the follow the "sentiero della Lasta" down to the road again SP8 (follow the sign of Sentiero di Maria, 2 blu wings and a star in the middle)
From here we keep going on the SP8, because there's no alternative above (due to deep valleys)
All trails are below going to Porcino and Pazzon (and then you have to climb up again to Braga).
Take to road with road sign Omaner, and from here follow the same path back to Braga.
