Itinerary description
This wonderful trail starts and ends in the Boyana area close to the famous Boyana church in the outskirts of Sofia.You follow the Boyana river passing by some very nice waterfalls until the awesome Boyana falls. The way until the main falls is relatively steep and at follows very close the river in some parts (at some points it seems as if the trail dissapperead in the river but its very well marked) in this part there is only one detour left at the very beginning. In the way down you leave different branches to your right and to your left, the first of them is the trail leading to boyana hut. A small detour to the left in this part of the trail leads you to a group of rocks where you have a wonderful view of Sofia. You also pas by the Boyana lake .
