Itinerary description
This track shows the drive from Route 212 (2 miles west of Woburn, QC) to the trailhead for Boundary, as well as the hike itself. At the Ranger station, sign in and pay the entrance fee (was $10.25 CA on 9/26/2015), and set your odometer to 0. There's an intersection at .7M (straight thru), and at 6.1M a Y-fork - go left as the right fork is gated. At 7.1M make a RIGHT on CH. DE LA GRIVE (there's a sign) and at 8.1M park in the large gravel pit - the trail will begin at the lower right side of this big area where there's also a portapotty. On the left is a tall hoist for moose, and you'll immediately cross a small brook. The ATV track will climb STEEPLY for about .75 miles, and then level off before coming to the boundary swath a mile from the TH. Make a left, following the boundary swath over 3 PUDs for a mile to the summit. The canister is in the woods on the right a few feet - a sign above says "Panther" (its Canadian name) and the canister says Boundary. Overall, the hike is a bit over 4 miles.
