Itinerary description
A very nice (and long) day on the GR16 along the Semois river with very nice views all the way. The day starts with a steep climb from Bouillon to a high viewpoint (on a tower) overlooking the twisting river around Bouillon and it's castle. Then it climbs down back to the water level and goes through a wonderful combination of forest and river near Cordemois monastery. A short side trip to l'Epine through the bridge provides very nice views. From tombeau du géant viewpoint I took the ladders (echelles) variant up to Rochehaut and then through Frahan (beautiful) to Alle.
