Boucle Champex d'Alesse-Sex Carro

Rando assez incroyable... Je m'attendais à un bon dénivelé jusqu’au Sex Carro (près de 1000 mètres) mais pas à la neige... J'ai parqué à près de l'arrivée du téléphérique à Champex d'Alesse. Donc montée soutenue, heureusement qu'il ne faisait pas trop chaud (entre 5 et 10 degrès), jusqu'à l'alpage de "L'Au d'Alesse". C'est ensuite que ça s'est corsé. Je savais qu'il avait neigé la nuit précédente, mais fin mai, je pensais que la grosse couche de neige avait fondue. GROSSE ERREUR de ma part, à près de 2000 mètres, à revers, congère de neige... Bref, depuis l'alpage jusqu’au Sex Carro, c'était randonnée à raquettes sans raquettes, pieds trempés, neige jusqu'au genou... Cerise sur le gâteau, marmottes à gogo, paysage grandiose au sommet, malgré le vent glacial (merci au coupe-vent Regatta qui fait le job toute l'année !)  Descente cool, pas trop douloureuse pour les jambes.

Quite an incredible hike... I expected a good height difference up to the Sex Carro (nearly 1000 meters) but not to the snow... I parked near the arrival of the cable car to Champex d'Alesse. So climb sustained, fortunately it was not too hot (between 5 and 10 degrees), until the alp of "L'Au d'Alesse". Then it got tough.
