Scenery
Moderate
Challenging walk of some 9 miles in all. Started at Bonne Nuit after getting the number 4 bus from St Helier. The walk is very up and down and goes through some very well managed paths giving spectacular views of Jerseys north coast and views to Sark and Alderney. My I phone briefly connected to French Telecom such was the closeness to the mainland! Memorial to a WW2 Jersey commando raid “operation hardtack” can be found along the route, which is well worth reading up about. It took us a good 5 hours In all(11.30am start and finishing at 4.30pm) Sadly the hungry man cafe closed at 4pm! Return bus to St Helier is via the number 3 bus from apple cottage in Rozel.
