Itinerary description
Ample off road parking, beautiful picnic area with tables, shelters and very clean toilets.
We did the circuit in a clock wise direction, just after the spillway you have a choice here of taking the path we did along the shoreline through tall grass or through the bush on formed track.
It's an easy walk this time of year but might be a bit wet over winter when the dam level is up.
The walk takes you through tall grass, beautiful bush tracks and some pine forest.
On the far side of the lake we took a new trail not shown on our map, it took us through some recently tidied up bush, appears to be a new track going in.
Over all a great walk, thoroughly enjoyed it.
