Itinerary description
The trail starts at a bodega just south of the village San Nicolás (alt. Las Manchas) where there is plenty of parking space. Prepare yourself for the big climb at 2.5 km. The following km you will climb 300 m = 30%. Around 4 km you will cross the 1949 lava stream and then basically follow it back down to the village, it will be on your left. Most of the village was miraculously saved from the lava stream in 1949.
