Beautiful and quiet route until you get to see the tongue of the Bodalsbreen glacier. Fortunately, this route is considerably less crowded than Briksdalsbreen.
The route is partly done by way and another part by a path. The valley through which we walk is beautiful as you can perfectly appreciate the characteristic "U" shape of the glacial valleys, carved by the ice of the glacier when moving. We can also enjoy the dozens of waterfalls and waterfalls that form at this time due to the melting of the glaciers. And finally, at the bottom of the valley we can see small mounds that are really the moraines that once dragged the glacier before it started to recede.
In the middle of the route we find the wooden houses of Bodalsseter.
If you are lucky enough to choose a day with good weather (as was mine), the route is very simple and very pleasant for all the senses.
The track hanging here is only the way one way. The return is made by the same site.
