Itinerary description
You can take a bus from Bahir Dar to Tissisat (public bus can be an adventure itself). From the town there is a short circular walk to see the Blue Nile Waterfalls. There is no need to take any guide (specially non official guides...). People at the Official guide site are really nice.
You will cross the Portuguese Bridge, built in 1620, and a suspension bridge. At the end you need to take a boat to cross the river.
Water can be reduced on the dry season, as there is a hydro plant.
