Itinerary description
Begin at the Old Cheese Factory and move towards the farmhouse and through the Garden Route. Cross the second bridge, through the small gate and pass the old stone hut. At the next gate continue straight, crossing the farm road, onto the trail leading into the forest.
Continue along the trail passing a few shaded picnic spots along the stream. Relax at one of the picnic areas equipped with benches and tables or cool down your feet in the stream. Keep an eye out for interesting birdlife such as Kingfishers or Woodpeckers.
At the top, the path reaches a T-junction, turn left and follow the path uphill until another T-junction is found. Turn left again, moving through a farm gate. Walk along this dirt road, downhill until you reach the bottom where another road meets. At this junction turn left and continue back towards the farmhouse, through the gate, over the bridge and back through the garden route. Complete the hike at the Old Cheese Factory.
