Itinerary description

Easy 1-mile loop day hike in forest, up and down a ridge, and along Little Piney Creek. There is another similar loop trail from this picnic and campground area, "Cedar Bluff Trail", 1.5-miles length.
We did it 5 April 2016; early spring is a unique and beautiful time because wild flowers bloom on the forest floor before trees leaf out.
The students from Rolla's Tech University should get out here more.
