Itinerary description
One of the most beautiful trails leaving from Champagne Castle Hotel, leading up to the foot of Cathkin Peak on the Contour Path.
The trail takes you past Crystal Falls (fill up with water here), past The Sphinx, and then up to the contour path and Breakfast Stream (the last water stop before Blindman's Corner).
Blindman's Corner is at the T-Junction and is clearly marked. On your way back, follow the path marked Kirtland's Pass (it goes off to the left). The trail on the way back is steep, with sheer-ish drops to the side at places (those with height issues may struggle).
You'll end up at the gate to Monks Cowl (Parks Board) and from there walk the rest of the way back to Champagne Castle by Road.

I love this walk. The views along the way are incredible.
Beautiful hike! The views are great, and they get better the higher you get. We left at 5:30 and were back before lunch.
