Itinerary description
A way from the center of the village of Blessington to Glen Ding forest. The way is going crossing through the big trees and sometimes going out if the main trail for discover more different points of view of the wood.
The starting way is sadly the only way for arrive to the main entrance of the forest, exactly where is the Parking car. From Blessington to the wood you should go 500 meters along the road. If you come driving, you can start the rute in the Parking itlself. If not, follow this rute.
For return, is the same way because is not possible any other way for come back to Blessington. Lights are recommender for go the 500 meters along the road.
ALTERNATIVE WAY for go to from the wood to Blessington (specially if its dark):
If its dark and you dont have lights, go to the waypoint BIG GREEN TREE and there follow the path until the wood ends. Arrive to the quarry views, turn right (face to Blessington direction) crossing through the wood to the fence of the sportive area. There, follow all time the sportive fence going to your left. All little fences are on the ground. Follow the big fence of the sportive area all the time, cross the corner and walk more meters still until you see the farm field just besides the sportibe club. Cross the farm field fence walking besides the sportive area fence and go to the road and then you will are at the road in front of the main gate of the sportive area. Just do it if its dark or just hurry, will be better than come back through the road.
START: From/To Dublin, bus 65 in the start/end point of the route.
