Itinerary description
Loop trail from Blackwood Caravan Park (parking fee $3, toilets available) on tracks, trails and minor roads.
Cross Lerderderg River on pedestrian bridge then turn left before ascending on track to reach Shaws Lake Rd. Turn left on minor trail to descend near Shaws Lake then follow trail round to right. before turning right on a track. Turn left on a minor track just before reaching North Blackwood Rd, and follow this before taking a minor track to the right to reach North Blackwood Rd. Turn left then immediately right on Tunnel Point Track, and follow this until it turns into a trail and descends to the blowhole.
Take a trail left to view the blow hole exit, then turn back to cross the Lerderderg River at the tunnel entrance. Ascend steeply up Gribbles Track before turning right along Byers Back Track. Continue along Golden Point Rd before turning right at North Blackwood Rd and crossing the Lerderderg River. Just after the bridge, turn left along the Lerderderg Track and follow this to reach the pedestrian bridge back to the car park.
