Itinerary description
Started just down from Blackstone Bridge in Lickeen Wood. We followed the Kerry Way Trail south. Lovely walk through the woods and forests. Kept on the trail up to the Climbers Inn in Glencar. Instead of turning right at the crossroads we went straight ahead. Continued on down this road until we arrived at the entrance for the Glencar Resort on the left. Turn down the lane and when you get up to the House take the lane down the left side. This will bring you down to the Caragh River. You can follow the river down right all the way back to the Blackstone Bridge.
