Show original
Hike in the Black Hills in South Dakota, a few kilometers south of the popular Mt. Rushmore. We will take a tour around the Cathedral Spiers area, high rock formations and climb the highest peak in the region, the Harney Peak, exceptional viewpoint of the entire park. We will finish the day at the Little Devils Tower, an easy climb with good views.

    What I like about this trail, is that Harney Peak is the highest point on earth between the Rocky Mountains and the Spanish Pyrenees. There is a nice variety of vegetation and many viewpoints on this trail.

    Mount Teide and mount Toubkal are highest than Harney Peak, but anyway it's a great trail with great views!
