Itinerary description
This hike will take you out the blue trail from the parking area onto a couple of boardwalks which span a swampy area. While on the boardwalks, keep an eye open for the plants, flowers and wildlife which inhabit that type of environment. From the boardwalks you will enter a dryer world, more scrub and fields. I stayed on the blue trail mainly, but did do a little "exploring". While in the Black Hammock area you will see a variety of Eco-systems. It does get pretty hot out there in the summer, so be prepared for that.
