Itinerary description
A largely off track exploration to the North of Carnarvon Gorge based on detail from Charles Warner's 1987 book 'Exploring Queensland Central Highlands'. This is a technically challenging and physically demanding walk in a rugged and remote area. There are complex navigation, route finding and scrambling problems to solve (we used a rope belay at several points).
