Itinerary description
This town has been abandoned by its people 100 years ago during the Ottoman period. The trail was downhill in the beginning on a clear path of dirt and stone. The last bit before reaching the town was a relatively steep short uphill. That bit was less obvious than the rest of the trail. In the abandoned town, we saw a little church called Mar Elias. After spending some time in Bjerrine we mounted back uphill to our cars.
