Itinerary description
We took the joker shuttle from Estes Park to the park & ride. But when you are early you can park your car there. The hike starts uphill to Bierstadt lake. From there there is an easy climb in the direction of Bear lake. Halfway to Bear lake you reach the top of the climb and the rest is downhill. We took the shuttle bus at Sprague lake back to the park & ride.
