Itinerary description
Slight variation on https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/alibahadir-beykoz2-12206035/photo-7496596. More asphalt (not too busy on a Sunday morning), cutting out some paths that were too overgrown for the end of summer, or otherwise not really there. Satisfactory hike if you want walk fast and without interruption, be outside of the city, enjoy a quietly spectacular Bosphorus view (above Beykoz) and endlessly rolling forested hills interspersed with roads, rubbish and rural villages (Karlıtepe, Zerzavatçı, Mahmutşevketpaşa, Alibahadır). Not recommended if you are allergic to asphalt or having very high expectations scenery-wise. There might be quite a lot of mud on the forest stretches from autumn on.
Transportation is easy; there is a regular bus from Alibahadır to Kavacık (136). Water can be found in the villages.
